At least 9,061 Palestinians have been killed and some 32,000 wounded in three and a half weeks of Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip since attacks by the Palestinian movement Hamas in Israel last month, authorities reported today. The Ministry of Health of the Hamas Government in the Gaza Strip said in a statement that among those killed by the Israeli Army attacks were 3,760 minors and 2,326 women. The note added that at least 32,000 people were injured. The previous balance, published this Wednesday, was 8,525 deaths. Israel launched its bombings in Gaza after Hamas militants infiltrated its territory from Gaza on October 7 and killed more than 1,400 people, mostly civilians. Some 4,800 Israelis were injured in the attacks.
