Cafiero: "Today's priority is to remove 180 minors from Israel

We have three flights scheduled. We hope to have the necessary conditions at the airport to evacuate them," the chancellor reported. The "Safe Return" operation began with the sending of the Hercules, which has now been joined by the Boeing T-99 of the Air Force.

Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero said that this Friday the priority of the "Safe Return" operation to evacuate the Argentines who are in Israel is "a contingent of 180 minors who were carrying out an educational exchange" in that country when last Saturday the Hamas organization carried out a multiple attack in different parts of the territory. "Today's priority is to remove all the minors. We have three scheduled flights. We hope to have the necessary conditions at the airport to evacuate them. There are 180 kids plus their guardians. Today the focus will be on there," said the head of the Palace San Martín in statements made this Friday to online radio FutuRöck. Cafiero explained that after the first of the repatriation flights with 49 compatriots was completed on Thursday, this Friday they will try to maintain the air bridge between Tel Aviv and Rome with three other flights. "There will be three flights interspersed between the Hercules - which is in the city of Rome - and the Boeing" T-99 of the Argentine Air Force that left Buenos Aires on Thursday, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
